Update to the quicksand system


I have released an update to the quicksand system for RPG Maker MV.

There are now 4 stages instead of 3. The first 3 stages have the player sink deeper and move slower while the fourth stage will damage the characters until they run out of HP or they exit the quicksand.

The character sprites will change based on the depth (stage) of the quicksand to show that the character is sinking in quicksand.

I have provided options for disabling the timer and disabling damage. When you disable the timer, quicksand will simply slow you down and prevent dashing. When you disable damage but enable the timer, you won't take damage which could be used for an event trigger such as transferring the player to a different map or possibly sending them back at a "checkpoint".

A template file is included for creators to edit their character graphics for the quicksand system. 48x48 (MV default) and 48x72 are provided.
